My daugher Hannah wrote this for her mom to try to win the contest so I am submitting it.

I love my mom and she loves me. My mom’s name is Lori. She is a hard worker and why I think she should win. Here are some reasons I think she should win. About 7 weeks ago my mom lost her job. She’s been working so hard to find a full time job. Right now she just has a part time job that pays very little and she’s had like 6-8 interviews but no call backs. But even after all that she’s dedicated her time to a charity and projects like Habitat for Humanity to help build houses for those in need and Mercy Hospital to help cancer patients. The reason I love her so much is because she’s always there for me and she takes care of me. Here are things she does for me: she will pick me up, cook, take care of me when I’m sick, and sometimes make my bed, and a handful of other things. I also love the things she does with me, like snuggles, or takes a walk or a bike ride, talks with me, even watches TV and a lot of other things too. Also I just love her and she really, really needs this. She means the world to me, but no offense to dad. I love her with all my heart. Please pick us. Sincerely, Hannah & Paul Schoening
