Can I have my flowers delivered the same day I order?
In the U.S. and Canada, same-day delivery is generally available Monday through Saturday on orders received before 11:30 am in the recipient's time zone (excluding holidays and peak floral delivery periods). Orders received after 11:30 am in the recipient's time zone may be delivered the next delivery day. Outside our local delivery area, there may not be delivery available on Sundays. Please make sure that your order information is accurate and complete in order to avoid delivery delays. This would include the apartment or suite # if needed, and most especially a current telephone number.
If you place an order after 11:30 am there is an additional Late Same Day Delivery fee depending on the area you wish to have delivered to. If you do not select this option and opt for Standard delivery - your delivery will automatically be sent the next day.

Where can I have flowers delivered?
We offer same-day local flower delivery in all the surrounding metro areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, including all local funeral homes, as well as businesses, residences, churches, places of worship, and schools. To simplify our delivery rates please see the following options which apply in MOST cases.
Exceptions include timed deliveries, early morning or late evening deliveries, special handling. Set up for events may have additional charges.
We are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. address.
These orders are our very highest priority. If you have ordered too late to make the funeral service we will contact you via the information you give us so that you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the home of the family. Please have the zip code and address of the funeral home so that we ensure your arrangements get to the correct destination. Depending on the time of service we may elect to deliver a day early to a church or funeral home. If you have ordered a funeral viewing on Sunday, we will deliver on Saturday.
Schools do not accept deliveries for students. Please send teacher's gifts to the school and any student orders to their residence. Orders to schools often need to be received by 3 pm, which may require a courier service.
What happens if the recipient is not home?
If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the item in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as on a porch (if weather permits) or with a neighbor. The delivery person will attempt to contact the recipient and may be able to redeliver the package but the sender may be liable for the cost of redelivering the item/s.
What happens if I provide an incorrect delivery address?
If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $10 address correction fee. Schaaf Floral is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.
Is Sunday delivery available?
We are closed on Sundays and so is our delivery service provider. We recommend you order your arrangement/ gift for delivery, a day or more prior so your gift can be enjoyed throughout the weekend.
What happens if my delivery is refused by the recipient?
If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, the sender is held fully liable for the cost of the order and delivery attempt.
What happens when I request to leave the item at the door?
The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements, at the door. We highly discourage special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard, or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. Schaaf Floral cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty products due to this special request.
Can I deliver flowers anonymously?
We do not send deliveries anonymously, due to possible sensitive nature of an anonymous delivery and legal issues, which can cause anxiety or fear on the part of the recipient. In the spirit of expressing positive emotions with flowers, we do our best to make receiving flowers a wonderful experience on all occasions.
How can I check my Delivery Status?
Please consider your order delivered on the day you requested if you receive a confirmation. If we have any difficulties with your order, we will contact you by telephone and/or e-mail.
Can I request a specific time for the delivery of my arrangement?
If you are in our local area you wil be offered different rush delivery options based on the time of your order during checkout. We offer our convenient rush service for an additional charge.
On sympathy orders, we check with the funeral home and will change the delivery time and date according to what is requested by the funeral director.
If you are not in our local area you can call us and we will do our best to accomodate your request.
How far in advance can I order a gift/bouquet/arrangement for delivery?
Our online website is set for 45 days. We can take an order for any time in the future via the phone, please feel free to call us or email. Note: During peak floral holiday periods, this range is subject to change.
