What Gifts to Give on St. Patrick’s Day

social copySt. Patrick’s Day, on March 17th, is a cultural and religious celebration of St. Patrick. Historically, it celebrates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. However, over the past few decades, it has mainly turned into a celebration of Irish culture in general.

Celebrations on St. Patrick’s Day often involve wearing the color great, plenty of shamrocks and perhaps public festivals or parades. Many Christians will attend church services and appreciate that Lent restrictions on eating and drinking are lifted for the day.

If you have someone special in your life, a gift on St. Patrick’s Day can be a very nice touch. Why not consider one of these options?

  • A Lucky Topiary – Lucky, green and looks great at home or at work, this topiary is a great gift for both a loved one or perhaps a boss or someone else you would like to impress. While it is the perfect St. Paddy’s Day gift, it will bring a touch of freshness to a desk or home throughout the year.
  • St. Patrick’s Day Bouquet – Saying it with flowers is always appropriate. A green and white bouquet is a classy way to say “Happy St. Patrick’s Day”!
  • Green Carnations – Carnations come in many colors, so do not be surprised that green is one of them! Green carnations are a gift for this big day, and can show your Irish pride!
  • Balloons – Sometimes flowers just are not the right choice. Luckily, there are plenty of non-flower options too. A nice St. Paddy’s Day balloon bouquet, perhaps with a card or candy attached is another great idea.

If you are shopping for that special St. Patrick’s Day gift, or looking for a special something any time of the year, why not check out the options available at Schaaf Floral? We are Minneapolis’ number one floral choice!
