Plaid & Lace Tablescape DIY
Whether you are hosting a celebration or visiting as a guest this holiday season, make it beautiful with flowers. Let us help you find ideas for how to create the perfect holiday interior with our DIY Tablescape recommendations. This is the second of four tablescapes we will be featuring this month, the “Plaid and Lace” tablescape.
To create this table, you will need:
Red roses from florist
Evergreen Branches from florist
Willow Branches from florist
Cranberries
Various mixed nuts
Cylinder vases
Plaid fabric
Lace, about 1.5” thick
Rosemary sprigs
Brown textured ribbon
Candles
Double-stick hem tape
Scissors
Rich colors like red and brown are synonymous with winter and in this week’s tablescape we use different textures to create a warm and comforting environment for your guests this holiday season. If you are not setting your table this holiday, you can bring a host gifts that will fit with the decor.
To make the table runner, we used double-stick hem tape to attach to plaid fabric that we cut to 1.5’ wide.
We filled the vases with the cranberries and mixed nuts on different levels to add texture, height, and color. We laid evergreen branches and willow branches along the center of the runner as a basis for the vases and candles.
A beautiful red rose and rosemary sprig at every table setting using the brown textured ribbon is the finishing touch to bring the whole table together.
We recommend the Joyful & Triumphant as the perfect arrangement to accompany this table. Visit our selection of hand picked holiday flowers and gifts to find the perfect centerpiece for your table or a beautiful arrangement to present to the host.
